| 10:00 | Bulb planting in the WWW Community Garden | Come along and join us as we start work of creating the new Woodland, Wildlife and Wellbeing Community garden in the grounds of St John's church
The church lounge will be open from 10am serving hot and cold drinks.
We will be planting daffodil bulbs down the length of the new path so come prepared!
Bring a gloves, a kneeler and a trowel or bulb planter. We have lots of bulbs ready to plant for a fabulous show in spring. |

| 10:00 | Food bank collection | Every last Saturday of each month St John's church will collect non-perishable food and toiletries for the Atherton and Leigh Foodbank |
| 18:00 | Candlelight Vigil and prayer for COP 26 | At 6pm wie will toll a bell to remind us all and our community to a call to action on climate change.
COP 26 started on Monday and we commit to pray for our leaders to address the issues of climate change and the impact on the poorest people on our planet, many who have done little to create this problem but who will suffer the most.
Join us for a time of prayer and reflection. The church will be lit at 6pm then gradually the lights gradually reduced. It provides a time of prayer, reflection and quiet. Whether you believe in the Creator God who sustains our every breath and heartbeat or not you are more than welcome to join us and reflect on what needs to change to protect our planet today and also for future generations. .The further is in our hands and that of our creator God. |
